The Denton County Development Support Committee unanimously approved an amending plat for Rosebrook Phase 1 on June 10, 2026, clearing the way for 318 residential lots, 14 homeowners association lots and a wastewater treatment plant lot on 136.796 acres in Commissioner Precinct 4. Sandra Torres, Senior Development Coordinator in Development Services/Planning, and Stephen Belknap, Director of Development Services/Engineering, provided a brief explanation of the reason for the amendment before the vote.
Leslie R. Freeman, Environmental Coordinator with the Health Department/Environmental, moved to approve the amending plat; Stephen Moore, Manager Engineering in Development Services/Engineering, seconded the motion. The committee recorded a unanimous vote in favor of the amending plat, 4-0. Committee members present for the vote were Sandra Torres; Stephen Moore; Leslie R. Freeman; and Tim Ippolito, Plan Review Specialist, Fire Marshall/Emergency Services. The meeting was called to order by Jared Harwell, Manager Planning, at 9:00 AM and adjourned at 9:02 AM.
No preliminary plats, proposed plats, variance requests, or proposed infrastructure development plans were presented during the meeting.
