Duluth awards $1.225 million contract for Public Safety building pavement and site improvements

City Manager James Riker presented the project overview and financial sources. Councilmember Thomas moved and Councilmember Doss seconded approval; the motion carried with Park, Thomas, Doss, Graeder and Cummings recorded in favor.
The project description in the minutes includes repair and resurfacing of parking areas and sidewalk and step repairs at the Public Safety entry; the minutes do not include the full bid tabulation or contract documents. Staff recommended and the council approved an award with contingency to accommodate unforeseen site conditions.
