The committee considered several coastal-use permit matters and took three procedural actions during the meeting.
A motion to accept a permit subject to additional conditions was moved by Merlin and seconded by Jan; the committee approved the motion by voice vote.
Staff then described a proposed drive-through site (referred to as Seven Brew) near Martin Luther King and Westside Boulevard and said it has known wetland impacts and that a mitigation-intent form had not yet been submitted. Jeff moved to put the Seven Brew application on hold until the mitigation information is provided; Jan seconded and the motion passed.
Separately, staff said an applicant (referred to as the vice) withdrew a permit application after reviewing the required mitigation payment and deciding not to proceed; staff told the committee no action was required because the withdrawal would be made in writing.
Staff reported there were no state concerns on the recorded items. The committee set its next meeting for Tuesday, July 7 at 5:00 p.m. and then adjourned (motion to adjourn by Marilyn, seconded by Jan).
