- GED/high-set credit-by-exam procedures: Approved procedures allowing eligible adult education and RBLC students to request credit evaluation based on GED/high-set assessment results; administration to verify official score reports and transcript histories before awarding credit. Motion by Jackson; roll-call vote passed.
- Cooperative agreements: Approved 2026–27 cooperative education program agreements with Wayne-Westland Public Schools and with Leavonia (transcript spelling) Public Schools to serve students for specialized programming the district does not provide directly. Motions passed on roll call.
- Closed session: Board voted to enter closed session at 6:52 p.m. for collective bargaining strategy (8C).
All board roll-call votes recorded Jackson, Davis, Kamal and Laster voting yes on the contested items listed above. Several items were discussed briefly before passage; the GED credit-by-exam proposal prompted the most substantive debate about equity and assessment practice.
