Several cell phone bills (US Cellular) and certain office‑supply charges were also excluded. Commissioners asked staff to produce invoices for a state electric charge and a ‘‘box alarm’’ PE‑card charge of about $531 so they could determine eligibility.
Because the municipality cited multiple transitions in city managers, treasurers and clerks that affected invoice handling, the commission agreed to a limited exception to its usual reimbursement policy for Oakfield for the affected period, provided supporting documentation is submitted within 90 days. Commissioners asked that future submissions be clearer and praised staff for improvements under recent hires.
Motions to approve the vouchers with the named exceptions and to allow the time‑limited Oakfield exception were moved, seconded and approved by voice vote.
