District staff and board members said they have coordinated with the Chamber and CESA 12 during the planning process, and the district will cover registration for interested staff up to a capped amount. The summit is intended for parents, community members and educators interested in public education topics; organizers invited governor candidates to participate in a forum as part of the event. Jill Underly was reported as attending and Governor Evers was invited but had not confirmed.
Board members also noted logistical support: food service will provide breakfast and lunch through the high school cafeteria and local partners will support evening events. Board members encouraged community attendance and said volunteer greeters and advocates are welcome.
