Casey said Keep Tyler Beautiful hosted the Great Tyler Cleanup with about 300 volunteers who removed nearly 2,800 pounds of trash and that the Adopt‑a‑Spot program engaged nearly 2,000 volunteers who removed more than 10,000 pounds of litter across an estimated 432 miles of roadway and 852 acres of green space. She credited partners including Andrews Diversified and local businesses for support and noted programs such as a mural initiative, Park Service Day, and a Christmas tree recycling program with local wildlife groups.
"The achievements we celebrate today would not be possible without the support and dedication of our sponsors, city leaders, board members, and volunteers," Casey said. She also recognized Mayor Don Warren and former Council member James Nguyen for their support.
