Valley View Local board approves budget moves, donations and several contracts in routine meeting

The board approved a set of contracts and program adoptions included in the packet: a school clinic services agreement with Premier Community Health for 2026–27; a contract with Four Seasons Environmental Inc. for HVAC technical and preventative maintenance for the 2026–27 school year; purchase of Kadiant Connect and Protector access-control systems for the Valley View Administrative Building; and an agreement with Stepping Stones Incorporated and Gallia Local School District for services in 2026–27. Trustees also approved adoption of the Frog Street preschool curriculum and accepted a $1,000 grant awarded under a T-Mobile Friday Night 5G Lights partnership program, authorizing the superintendent and treasurer to execute related documents.
Personnel actions and compensation adjustments cleared the agenda: the board approved recommended personnel in attachment three and increased the director of student services' administrative salary schedule from 213 to 218 days. The board also approved APC 2027 health-insurance renewal matters and the district's participation in the Ohio School Plan insurance renewal covering property, liability, auto, pollution and cyber policies.
