Monroeville council awards paving and maintenance contracts, authorizes bridge easement and renews regional COG membership

At its June 9 meeting, the Municipality of Monroeville Council approved several procurement awards and intergovernmental actions, including a low bid award for the 2026 paving program and authorization of a temporary construction easement for a county bridge project.

For the 2026 paving program (2602-PAV), staff opened bids and reported Liberon Incorporated as the low bidder at $1,560,958.74; council moved and approved the award by roll call. For the 2026 Seal Coat Program (2603-SC) and the 2026 Fog Seal Program (2604-FS), staff reported Russell Standard Corporation as the low bidder on both; the meeting transcript contains unclear numeric formatting for those bid amounts, and the transcript’s figures for those bids are therefore recorded as not specified here.
