The proposed memo asks for three things: more time to respond, simplification or clearer objectivity in the chart's categories, and a deadline for submission of the committee's comments. One member also suggested inviting a Planning Commission representative to present the chart to committees so members could ask clarifying questions.
The committee moved and seconded to adopt the memo; members voted in favor and the chair directed staff (Hans) to send a PDF to the Planning Commission and hand-deliver the memo where appropriate. The committee noted the RPDI current uses were the result of an earlier settlement and asked that any changes include consideration of concessions or quid pro quo if new uses are added.
