Bradley County Commission adopts corrected FY2025–26 appropriations, approves $47,234.21 liability reconciliation; motion to table Minnis Road fire‑facility aid

The Bradley County Commission adopted a corrected copy of Resolution 2025‑23, which contains the county’s appropriations for fiscal year 2025–26, during its Aug. 4 meeting. Commissioner Milan M. Blake reported, "The committee voted 3‑1, with 1 absent, to table the Building and Land Committee request to fund the clearing, leveling, and graveling/paving of the fire facility property located on Minnis Road." When the motion to table was brought before the full Commission, the roll‑call vote was 5 in favor and 7 opposed, and the motion to table failed.
