The Kane County Commission moved into closed session at the end of its June 9 meeting to discuss pending or reasonably imminent litigation.
Chair moved the commission into a closed session authorized for discussions of litigation; commissioners voted in favor and county staff and members of the public were asked to leave the room. Chair and staff directed that certain personnel (including the roads director, Bert Harris) remain for the closed session as needed.
No substantive details of the litigation were discussed in the open meeting and commissioners did not disclose the subject matter prior to entering executive session.
