Caroline Board approves reappointments, consent agenda and certificates after closed sessions

At its May 26 meeting the Caroline County Board of Supervisors took several routine actions: it unanimously reappointed Alan Partin as the county representative to the Middle Peninsula Juvenile Detention Commission (term July 1, 2026–June 30, 2030) and reappointed Susan Gayle as a county representative to the Rappahannock Area Community Services Board (term July 1, 2026–June 30, 2029).
The Board approved the Consent Agenda, which included approval of minutes, warrants and Change Order #3 to the Pendleton Wastewater Pump Station and Greensand Filter Facility Project contract with E. Granville Wade, Jr., Inc. The Board also convened two closed sessions during the meeting — the first addressing legal counsel, real estate acquisition in the Ladysmith area and personnel matters regarding the County Administrator; the second focused on real estate and personnel — and certified by roll call after each that only the matters identified in the motions were discussed. The meeting concluded with unanimous adjournment.
