Library board approves annual report; vote recorded with one absence

A board member moved and a seconded motion to accept the annual report, and the clerk conducted a roll call. The recorded yes votes were from Robin Barker (President), Barbara Fitzgerald, Catherine Meek, Nola Perkins, Vera Walters and Alexander Wairoba. Judy Boyer was absent. The motion passed.
Board members had reviewed the report during the meeting; Pam Harrison, library director, described the report's cover, photography and a summary of statistics and program highlights, and explained the board uses the June 1'May 31 date range to produce more accurate annual statistics.
The approved report includes program descriptions, outreach partnerships and a financial statement and will be submitted to the city council as the library board's annual record. No other formal actions were taken at the meeting before adjournment at 7:10 p.m.
