The Evansville Town Council on May 27 voted to authorize the mayor to execute a contract with WLC for phase two of the Transportation Alternatives Program (TAP) pathway on Leip Road.
Meeting materials and the presenter said the town formed a selection committee, conducted a consultant selection process and chose WLC to complete design and construction engineering for the project. The council moved, seconded and approved a motion authorizing the mayor to sign the contract so the work can proceed.
The action authorizes the mayor to execute the WLC contract; the meeting record does not show a separate vote tally by named council members. The contract approval was handled as a routine consent/contract authorization item and no amendments were recorded at the May 27 meeting.
