After returning from executive session, the Old Bridge Library Board reported two formal actions taken in closed session and approved in open session by roll-call votes.
First, trustees approved a motion directing the acting director to issue a ban for a patron discussed during executive session. The ban takes effect immediately for a period of 30 days and is subject to adjustment, the board said. The motion passed on a roll-call vote with trustees recorded as voting yes.
Second, the board approved a personnel motion to execute an acting director contract with Pam Condello, retroactive to May 29, 2026, at an hourly adjustment rate of $41.32 through Sept. 30, 2026. The motion to approve the contract was moved and seconded and passed by recorded vote.
Board minutes show both measures were approved after the executive session report; trustees congratulated Pam Condello following the vote. The board did not provide further operational details about the banned patron, citing the confidentiality of executive-session deliberations.
