The Delhigh Township Board of Trustees on June 10 adopted two emergency nuisance resolutions targeting properties the township said remained out of compliance after prior notices.
Community Development staff introduced the first resolution (transcribed as "202665") declaring a nuisance for excessive vegetation at 590 Greenwell Avenue and moved to dispense with the second reading and declare an emergency. Trustees voted to dispense with the second reading and then adopted the resolution by roll call.
A second resolution (transcribed as "2026-66") declared a nuisance at 5313 Romance Lane, and trustees followed the same procedure—dispensing with the second reading, declaring an emergency and adopting the resolution after a roll-call vote.
Fiscal Officer Lubers called the roll for the votes recorded in the transcript as: Mrs. Starts (yes), Mr. CE (yes), and Mr. Davis (yes). The board took the actions as emergency measures under the township’s nuisance-abatement procedures.
Community Development staff said they reduced a larger docket of nuisance cases during recent work and presented these two remaining properties as unresolved. Staff indicated the resolutions move forward the enforcement process to remedy excessive vegetation.
