Council approves routine business, swears in clerk and approves single-family permit

The council approved routine items at its Dec. 11 meeting. After Mayor Susan Juschka called the meeting to order, councilmembers voted to approve the agenda with additions, approved the Nov. 13 regular meeting minutes, accepted the Treasurer's Report, and approved claims including a CenturyLink bill and a Fire Department phone-line usage question; all motions carried with the recorded phrase 'All in favor.'
Following those approvals, Kelsey Crabtree was sworn in as Clerk/Treasurer. Kelsey later reported that the BMS online payment system is now operational. The council determined that the Mendoza project does not require a building permit, and it approved a Wilson building permit limited to a single-family residence only. Heather Schoning moved the Wilson permit approval and Jeston Cundall seconded; the motion carried unanimously.
The council also noted receipt of approximately $4,000 from Wyoming Community Gas and tabled a decision on how to use those funds — Mayor Juschka suggested new downtown Christmas decorations but the council left the matter open for other suggestions. The meeting concluded with a motion to adjourn that passed unanimously.
