Atani framed the request as a matter of public accountability: "Board members are accountable for implementing policy and procedure, for upholding state laws, and for answering to this community," she said, urging responses calibrated to misconduct rather than a single blanket punishment.
The board did not engage in extended discussion during public comment; the chair noted the board would listen and may schedule topics for a future meeting if appropriate.
