The breakdown included six assaults, four domestic-violence incidents, two DUIs, five drug/contraband calls, 10 harassment reports, one indecent-exposure, 12 motor-vehicle crashes, 19 suspicious-activity calls and 15 thefts. The department also reported seven trespass complaints, 85 vehicle stops, four warrant services, two weapons calls and five welfare checks.
As a result of that activity the Chief said there were two DUI arrests, 10 criminal charges filed, 68 traffic citations, six non-traffic citations, four adult criminal arrests and nine juvenile-allegation arrests. The Chief noted K9 Dea performed five deployments and participated in a drug-and-alcohol demonstration at the junior high school with Officer Kevin.
Council did not take formal action based on the report. The briefing provides a monthly operational snapshot; the Chief invited the public to contact the police department for follow-up or additional detail.
