At the June 9, 2026 meeting, the Utility Service Board for Lawrence City approved four sanitary sewer billing adjustments for accounts that staff said reflected service line leaks. The four adjustments total $4,334.00.
Paul, the utility superintendent, told the board there were four account adjustments on the agenda and that the fourth would exceed the board’s $1,000 review threshold; staff recommended approval of all four.
The board approved the following adjustments by voice vote: 12514 Tealwood Drive — $419.20; 7922 Alvada Place — $617.04; 11610 Congressional Lane — $269.51; and 6070 Banister Circle — $3,028.25. The Banister Circle adjustment was the fourth item staff flagged as exceeding $1,000.
Board members moved and seconded each item in turn and approved them by voice vote. Staff reported there were no remonstrations or repair disputes related to disconnect notices, and no members of the public spoke during citizen comment.
