The Dickinson County Board approved a set of routine consent and administrative items.
The board voted to sign a 28E service agreement with the Iowa State Association of Counties (ISAC) for HIPAA program services, which includes annual updates and training for staff. The board also approved an amendment allowing Emmet County to regain voting representation on the regional YES center board.
Several equipment purchases were approved as part of capital planning: the board authorized purchase of a 2027 water grader (Murphy Tractor Equipment Company, net price $374,900 after $55,000 trade-in) and accepted a low bid for a 2027 plow truck (Transource, $315,343). A small repair request for DD43 tile (estimated under $1,500) was approved for county forces to complete.
The board approved the May 26 meeting minutes and routine claims, including a drainage claim from Jacobson Westgard for $18,912.00 for branch 398 improvements.
These items passed largely on motions and voice votes with recorded assent by the board.
