Hernando school board approves agenda, minutes, expulsions and a $915,994 change order

The board adopted the meeting agenda (item 26-3852) permitting deletion of agenda item 6 (26-3834). The board approved change order 001 to the contract with Wallbridge Aldener LLC for drainage and turf improvements at Springstead High School in the amount of $915,994; the motion to approve that change order passed 3–0.
The board approved minutes from the May 26, 2026 workshop and regular meeting. The board entered final orders expelling two students for one year with educational services in case numbers listed in the agenda as E20226-05-02 and E2026-05-01; motions carried 3–0. The consent agenda (items 8–25) was adopted without any items pulled.
A deductive change order (002) to the contract with J Dunn Construction Company for HVAC replacement at Springstead High School was provided for the board’s information and required no board action. No additional formal policy adoptions or curricular votes occurred at the meeting.
