The applicant agreed to reduce the sign face and to require the EMC to dim at night and not display dynamic messages between 9:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m.
The board voted to approve the signage with standard conditions and the agreed limits on EMC hours and dimming. Members said they preferred not to have a bright, changing display throughout the night but recognized the utility of a daytime message board.
