Board members moved and seconded approval of the voucher detail report dated June 9, 2026, which the board approved by voice vote. The voucher action authorizes payment of accounts as listed in the voucher report; the transcript records the amount as $617,415.79.
The board accepted the resignation of Salur Carrera Oening from a five-year term on the town zoning board effective June 3, 2026. The resignation was recorded and accepted by the board during the meeting.
The board provisionally appointed James Senior Wine Plains to the position of DPU assessor in the assessor’s office, effective Sept. 28, 2026, at an annual salary of $110,000. The appointment was moved and approved during the session.
The board also accepted monthly reports for May 2026 from the supervisor, highway department, cemetery, town clerk, receiver and building department.
Finally, members moved, seconded and voted to adjourn to pending litigation and advice of counsel (an executive session). The clerk noted there will be no work session next week due to grievance day and announced the next meeting date as June 23.
