"The shell of the structure... will be done soon," Karen Dtori said, noting contractors were working to stay within schedule and that necessary inspections and signoffs for crane operations on a slope site had been completed.
Later in the meeting the placemaking committee introduced a revised Market Square mural design by professional muralist Chris Seria of Nyack. Trustees and committee members discussed imagery options — including the double-arch bridge, clock tower, waterfront/river motifs and a bilingual tagline — and raised a specific concern that the Spanish translation in the proposed band was visually small; the committee said it would ask the artist to adjust proportions and would provide artist contact, tax ID and contract information so staff could draft an agreement.
