Council hears zoning enforcement report; arrest warrants issued for 77 Longacre owners

Zoning Inspector Jim Brandenburg’s written report, read during the meeting, also noted that AJ Tree Service removed two trees located in the public right-of-way for $1,000. Solicitor Allan Michelson confirmed the citation and court proceedings related to the 77 Longacre matter.
Council member Barb Hunter raised a related environmental concern about tree debris left along McCabe Creek that could flow into Chippewa Lake; Leslie Burns offered to investigate and follow up.
The council did not take additional immediate action during the meeting beyond recording the report and noting the legal and enforcement steps under way. The zoning matter remains active and a further court date or enforcement action was not recorded in the meeting minutes.
