Chino Valley honors interim public works leader, welcomes new public works director Ryan Anderson

The Chino Valley Town Council presented a certificate of appreciation to Steven Sullivan for stepping into the interim public works director role during an extended vacancy and recognized several public works staff for their support.
Council members named staff who contributed to maintaining and improving services during the transition, including Paul Smith, Matt Greenfleet, Jason Olsen, Jesse Holfield, Cindy Thomas and Mark Holmes. The certificate praised Sullivan’s leadership, work ethic and fiscal stewardship while the town searched for a permanent director.
Council then introduced Ryan Anderson as the town’s new public works director. Anderson, described by council as having 26 years in public works and 11 years as a public works director elsewhere, said he looks forward to working with the council on sustainable infrastructure and maintaining community quality of life.
No formal action was required for the introductions and recognition; the council moved on to other agenda items after the presentation.
