Chesher said the earlier board-approved grant application was successful and this item seeks approval to accept the contract.
Chesher emphasized program boundaries: the county does not refer clients to abortion services when clients can readily find them, and the program does not provide the morning‑after pill. Following the presentation, a commissioner moved and seconded approval and the board approved the contract on the consent of the motion.
Staff will execute the grant contract and proceed with procurement to acquire LARC supplies for the family planning clinic as described in the contract documents.
