Financial and contract approvals included a 12‑month vocational agriculture contract for Carrie Butcher for 2026–27 totaling $82,791.15 on a 235‑day contract, an engagement for Kathy Ays as a reading specialist at $58 per hour for a maximum $14,500, and approval of administrative and supervisor contracts (Blake Betsner and others; Travis Bean, Jared Beaver, Jamie Ramos) with base and insurance increases consistent with earlier teacher adjustments.
The board accepted a number of donations listed in the packet: monetary gifts from Valley View Baptist Church to student lunch accounts ($300) and supplies ($200); furniture from Caterpillar; crushed gravel from FNK Construction for an elementary greenhouse project; smaller donations from Box Tops and Rolling in the Dough Pizza to elementary student activity funds; and multiple grants and gifts from the Carol Education Foundation (itemized in the packet) to support library furniture, math training, greenhouse work, social‑media equipment, band instruments, newsletters and advertising, and geo‑fencing advertising.
