At its June 10 meeting the Stow Environmental Commission approved the minutes from its May 13, 2026 meeting and moved to send a letter of the commission’s views in support of ordinance 202696 to City Council.
The chair introduced a draft letter summarizing the commission’s comments and thanked Sonia for recommending the written approach; a motion to send the letter was moved and seconded and the motion carried on a voice vote with no opposition recorded. The chair said the commission intends to have representation at the ordinance's public hearing and plans to comment at the July 9 hearing.
The commission also welcomed Rick Charles (to be sworn in by the mayor in the coming days), who may participate as a resident until the swearing is completed.
