The Lisbon Planning Board approved a minor subdivision amendment (referred to in the meeting as the Sawyer Amendment) that creates a new conforming lot by adjusting boundary lines for properties at 186 Webster Road (R09 Lot 16C and 16D).
Planning staff explained the amendment is an amended subdivision review that redistributes lot lines and creates a new, conforming lot; because the subdivision previously had a public hearing and this change is described as minor, staff advised that an additional public hearing was not required. "Because it's an amended subdivision, it doesn't need to be found to complete," planning staff said, and the board agreed the change was a minor boundary adjustment.
A committee member read a motion finding that the amendment satisfies the applicable standards of the Lisbon Land Use Ordinance and recommended approval; the motion was seconded and the board approved the application by voice vote. No additional conditions were recorded in the public transcript.
The board and staff noted the change had been discussed at prior meetings and that recording the amendment as a minor subdivision was consistent with prior practice for similar boundary adjustments.
