Committee approves merged ethics policy for Kenosha County elected officials and employees

Attorney Hall and corporation counsel presented the change as largely editorial. Counsel said the version before the committee was "in almost all aspects identical" to the draft approved previously and that the only alteration was a scrivener correction in one section. Committee members had no substantive questions about the ethics-language changes and voted to approve the merged text.
The committee recorded unanimous approval; the merged chapter will be incorporated into the county code and advanced according to usual procedures.
