The commissioners approved a retroactive $2,500 purchase from Election Systems & Software for in-house media-burn capability for elections and a $1,570.80 Center Communications quote to reprogram sheriff's radios after a statewide frequency update (the radio expense qualifies for Act 13 funds). "Bringing the media burn in-house will eliminate the delays we experienced when mail was late," the clerk said.
A request from ADAS to use opioid-trust funds to pay wages for a certified recovery specialist was moved and seconded but tabled for further clarification so auditors can review documentation and the status of an appeal referenced by commissioners.
