Dolores County commissioners appoint three to library board

The staff member described Copass as a dentist living in Rico, Davis as a retired school teacher living in Dubuque/Dub Creek (transcript spelling unclear), and Funk as a retired journalist.
Commissioner Elman moved to appoint the three candidates; another commissioner seconded the motion. The motion carried with all present voting in favor. Earlier in the short special meeting, Commissioner Alman moved to approve the meeting agenda and later moved to approve expenditures; both motions were seconded and approved unanimously.
There was a brief, unclear exchange in the transcript about one candidate’s property being sold “maybe a month ago.” The transcript does not record a formal challenge to any candidate’s eligibility, and the appointments proceeded as recommended.
