Commission approves $157,550 change order to lower HVAC rooftop units at the law enforcement center

Commissioners discussed whether to approve the change order immediately or add it into a final combined change order. A motion to approve change order No. 1 for the law enforcement center rooftop curb adapters carried by voice vote.
The commission did not specify finance coding in the meeting discussion; staff noted funding remains available within the project budget and that temporary cooling strategies will be used to keep jail pods operating during work.
