South Weber adopts RDA and Local Building Authority fiscal-year 2027 budgets

At its June 9 meeting the council convened as the RDA and Local Building Authority and approved Resolution 26-02 (Community Investment Area FY2027 budget) and Resolution 26-03 (Local Building Authority final FY2027 budget). Both motions passed by roll call votes.
The South Weber governing body met in succession as the Redevelopment Agency (RDA) board and the Local Building Authority (LBA) on June 9 and approved fiscal-year 2027 budgets for both agencies.
As the RDA board, members adopted Resolution 26-02 to approve the Community Investment Area FY2027 budget. The motion was moved, seconded, and passed on a roll call vote.
The council then convened as the Local Building Authority and approved Resolution 26-03 adopting the final FY2027 budget. That motion likewise passed on a roll call vote.
Both actions were presented with standard SB packet materials; one councilor asked staff which page contained the budget details and staff directed the member to the RDA section of the packet. The boards then adjourned and reconvened as the city council.
Next steps: staff will implement budget allocations for FY2027 as adopted and provide routine financial reporting to the boards.
