Carr, Riggs & Ingram representative Denna Caro presented the Town of Pike Road's April 2026 financial statements to the council on May 27.
Caro reported available cash of $21,251,558 and a fund balance of $20,032,559, an increase of $445,025 from the prior year. Year‑to‑date revenues were $8,900,994, $27,243 less than the prior year, and net income at month end was $2,873,038. Caro noted the income‑to‑expense ratio was 32 percent and the town had 34 months of operating expenses on hand. Caro also reviewed several revenue categories for the council.
After a question from Councilwoman Angie Bradsher about the YTD net‑income target percentage, Bradsher moved to accept the April financial statements as presented; Councilman Doug Fuhrman seconded and the council approved them by unanimous vote.
The approval completes the town's routine month‑end financial review; staff and the auditor will continue to provide updates during the budget cycle.
