Board members and attendees offered recognition and gratitude; the meeting closed with the adoption of the proclamation and adjournment. The board indicated that William Dowin will be honored as an inductee into the district Hall of Honor and as grand marshal of the town's Fourth of July parade, as cited in the proclamation text.
