The board moved and seconded the selection and approved it by voice vote. County staff indicated the project timeline stretches into next year and that construction scheduling would follow KDOT’s programming.
No local matching funds were requested at the meeting; commissioners treated the item as a routine acceptance of a state-funded infrastructure project.
The board also briefly discussed recent local highway overlay work and complimented the condition of the improved pavement.
County staff will coordinate with KDOT on project scheduling and any required local authorizations.
