Following the presentation the board voted to adopt amended Solid Waste Advisory Committee Rules of Procedure that reduce membership from 10 to 7 and establish two‑year terms for committee members. The motion passed by unanimous roll call. Sheriff Schendel thanked Marlene for her work, and a resident, Shelley Thompson, told the board Marlene had been the driving force behind cleanup at the former Honor Land Bank site.
