District announces summer programming, Amazon meal partnership; board retreats to executive session and approves consent agenda

Poland said the district has signed a summer meal delivery partnership with Amazon and that about 450 students had signed up so far to receive meals over the 10‑week summer period. "The fact that we can supplement meals throughout the 10 weeks of summer is really a nice testament to Rita," Poland said, recognizing staff coordinating the effort.
Poland said high‑school summer programming is not finalized and depends on regional assessment results; once those scores are returned, the district will finalize credit‑bearing options, credit recovery and extended‑year offerings for grades 9–12.
During public participation, Paul — speaking on behalf of, and in connection with, local American Legion activity — thanked staff (Nicole Sinclair, Lisa Viselli and building and grounds) for transportation and field maintenance and noted the Legion is sending three students to Boys State.
In board business the board moved into executive session to "discuss employment histories of specific employees." The board announced the motion carried, returned to open session and approved the consent agenda by voice vote. No detailed personnel outcomes or vote tallies were recorded in the public transcript.
