Kings Park West board confirms Herald editor, plans August membership meeting and seeks volunteers

Pamela said deadlines were discussed, Helen Santoro will write her usual introductory column, and Rose agreed to produce a piece updating residents on the traffic-calming committee’s progress.
The board discussed moving the association’s membership meeting to August so Scouts could participate and make campfire desserts; Pamela will coordinate with the Scouts to find a date that works. Pamela also proposed a routine check-in system for committee chairs: she will check in with Parks and Rec and Jonathan Reiser will check with Linda regarding Grounds Maintenance.
Board members noted the association still needs a membership chair and a vice president; Helen Santoro offered to update the membership chair job description. The minutes record no formal votes on these staffing items. The meeting adjourned at 7:50 p.m.
