Martha B. Alvarez told council the contractor (Royalty Construction LLC) is about halfway through painting decorative poles, has finished wooden trash receptacles and benches, and asked for a short extension to ensure the work is completed. Council reviewed the amendment language and confirmed it covered the decorative poles within the Main Street District and that other terms of the original contract remain in effect.
A motion to approve the contract amendment to extend the deadline to December 31, 2024 passed unanimously.
