The Pinellas Park City Council unanimously approved consent-agenda items C1 through C5 on June 9, covering an annexation agreement, land-use and boundary ordinances, a Florida Department of Environmental Protection contract amendment and a budget amendment for the 2025–26 fiscal year.
City staff summarized the consent package. Key items included authorization for the mayor to sign an annexation agreement with 118th Avenue Acquisition LLC (C1); Ordinance 2026-17 (annexation/legal-description amendment) and Ordinance 2026-18 (amending the official land-use map to Industrial Limited for a parcel at approximately 6868 118th Avenue North) as first readings prior to public hearing (C2 and C3); authorization for the city manager to sign Amendment No. 4 to Agreement L2208 with the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (C4); and Ordinance 2026-9, an appropriation and annual budget ordinance amendment covering the fiscal year beginning Oct. 1, 2025 and ending Sept. 30, 2026 (C5).
The mayor called for questions from the audience and council; none were raised. A motion to approve C1–C5 passed unanimously. Staff noted that the next public hearing for first-reading items will be held in council chambers on Tuesday, June 23, 2026 at 6 p.m.
