The council accepted the emergency city-hall water-main rerouting repairs (Project 2026-01) performed by Pierce Concrete and Masonry, confirmed county inspections were completed and permits issued, and authorized staff to file the notice of completion and release retention after a 30-day lien period.
Separately, staff explained an administrative oversight had delayed opening recruitment for two planning-commission seats that expired Jan. 1, 2026. The council approved a schedule to accept applications, have interviews before the personnel committee and return to the council this summer to appoint members to serve the remainder of the term.
Both actions were approved by unanimous vote.
