The board voted to advertise Ordinance 2026‑01, an amendment to Chapter 205 (Zoning) that adds new definitions and creates §205‑115 to regulate outdoor wood‑fired boilers. Solicitor Matthew Boyer said the ordinance was revised to incorporate three minor edits requested by Cumberland County; the board opened and closed the public hearing without comment prior to approving advertisement for adoption.
Separately, the board adopted Ordinance 2026‑02, which repeals and replaces Chapter 75 ("Burning, Outdoor") with a new outdoor burning ordinance. Vice Chairperson Jennifer DeGaetano moved both measures; Supervisor Robert Line seconded the motions and each passed unanimously.
The supervisors also awarded the township’s 2026–2027 road‑material and line‑painting contracts. The minutes record that the awards were approved unanimously but do not list vendor names or contract dollar amounts.
Park planning featured on the agenda: Manager Jill Lovett presented the Lindenwood Park Maintenance Plan, which the board approved to support future grant applications and to document town stewardship of park amenities. Lovett earlier told the board the township intends to pursue state grant opportunities for park rehabilitation; she noted a pending DCNR Park Rehabilitation Program grant concept for an ADA playground and pavilion (Phase IIA) estimated at $250,000 with a 50 percent match.
