Vice Chairperson Jennifer DeGaetano moved to approve the advertisement; Chairman Rob Kole seconded the motion and the board approved it unanimously. During public comment, resident Tom Imholte asked what changes the new ordinance would make and what prompted the update; Chairman Kole said the board would provide an overview at the time of action and the advertised ordinance will be posted on the township website.
The advertisement begins the formal public-notice process; residents will be able to review the proposed ordinance on Dickinson Township’s website once the advertisement is posted and provide comment before any final action by the board.
