Rafter J Ranch board retains current officers after Aug. 20 director elections

The Rafter J Ranch Homeowner’s Association Board of Directors confirmed the results of the Aug. 20 annual meeting and voted to retain the current officers at its Aug. 27 meeting.
Tracy Baiotto, elected Aug. 20 to a two-year director term, will continue as president, and Kathie Brazinski, elected to a three-year term, will remain treasurer. Aida Farag moved to retain the current officers (Tracy as president, Jessica as vice president, Kathie as treasurer, Brian Merritt as secretary and Aida as member at large); Brian Merritt seconded. The motion passed by majority vote.
The board also approved routine procedural items: Kathie Brazinski moved to approve the July 30, 2024 meeting minutes and Brian Merritt seconded; the motion passed. The board reviewed July financials and later voted to approve them (see related article).
Why it matters: Retaining the existing officer slate maintains continuity in HOA administration and signals no immediate leadership changes following the director elections. The board indicated it will communicate officer and director details to owners as part of routine updates.
The meeting adjourned at 5:08 p.m.; routine follow-ups and owner communications are to be handled by staff and the president.
