At its June 11 meeting, the Burbank Parks and Recreation Board approved the consent calendar and recorded a unanimous vote to schedule a special facility tour on Sept. 17.
The consent calendar included approval of minutes from May 14, 2026, a city council agenda items update, contract compliance items, the police park patrol report, a Dick Clark dog park progress report and a departmental operations update. A motion to approve the consent calendar was moved, seconded and approved with Chair Mickey Depalo, Vice Chair Robbie Brody, Board member Farah Assadi, Board member Maisha Gamino and Board member Armisia recorded as voting yes.
Separately, the board moved and approved a motion to hold a special facility tour on Thursday, Sept. 17 from 4:00 to 6:30 p.m., visiting the parks identified by staff and including a brief stop at Earthwalk Park. The board recorded unanimous yes votes on that motion as well.
For the record, staff informed the board that no written communications were received for the meeting.
Ending: Both routine approvals and the scheduling motion passed by unanimous vote; staff will finalize tour logistics and circulate details to the board.
